This is a post about Diploma Covers, but we are about to take the “scenic route”. 🙂 (We are about to talk about life and the pursuit of happiness). I’m mixing this post up, because this is how my brain felt today.
In life, I spend a lot of time reading and learning about all of the new technologies and how to use them. To make sure I stay abreast and knowledgeable. During this time, I’ve read a lot about a lot of different people. Here in the “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave!” You hear that phrase sometimes and pass it by, take it for granted at times. But we are human, and life goes on.
In this new technology era, there are many ways to “reach people”. Power is in the “numbers”. The internet allows for this to happen at an extreme pace. It’s awe inspiring at times. On one hand, life is so brand new and so much new stuff. On the other, people are still people. People/humans, no matter who you are have “Feelings”. This is what makes us human. It’s what “makes us alike”. Now, some of us care waaaay more than others, about some of the most trivial items life has to offer, it can boggle the mind. But no matter “who” you are, we ALL like to: Feel Special, Be Recognized, Be Noted. Think about it, have you ever heard anyone say “Oh, no, please don’t say I won, please don’t say you care”. (side note: If you are alive on this date 1-13-2016, today’s Lottery Powerball Jackpot is at 1.5 BILLION DOLLARS! This is CRAZY! (If you consider the fact at this moment, my Aunt Jane is 85, her first job was at Walgreen’s washing dishes back when black people couldn’t eat on the inside, only work there, she made $7 a WEEK, working 7 days a week, 9 hours a day). Back to our point, everyone likes to feel loved and appreciated. We just do. We also like to see our name in “lights and be highlighted”. What really helps one achieve this goal of wanting to give someone something that makes them feel recognized for their accomplishments.
